This senior session had some obstacles to overcome, namely mother nature and her raining fury.  But I am so glad we waited out the storm because Kristina's session turned out great!

South Lyon Senior Portrait Photographer | 2014 Senior Rep Hanna

Meet Hanna.  She is one of my fabulous 2014 Senior Reps.  Hanna will be a 2014 graduate of Rochester High School.  She plans on attending college in England, where she will pursue a degree in fashion design and dance.  Hanna plays for the Rochester High Varsity Lacrosse team and is a member of the choir.  When she is not working at Panera bread, Hanna enjoys longboarding, playing soccer, singing and dancing.  She also loves to travel - her favorite places are England and Germany.  

I really loved this senior shoot!  Hanna has such a fun style and knew exactly how to work the camera.  She was also game for just about anything - and I took full advantage of that!  Hanna's portraits were shot in multiple locations around the Rochester area - a majority in Downtown Rochester.  Wherever we went and whatever I wanted, Hanna was ready.  She was such a natural model and I am so happy to have been able to work with her.

South Lyon Children's Photographer | Lollipops and Recitals

This very cute and beautiful girl is gracing my blog once more.  This time in her dance recital ensemble.  This year she will be dancing to The Chordettes' 1958 hit "Lollipop".  I can not imagine another girl looking this cute for her recital!    

South Lyon Portrait Photographer | A Special Birthday Session

Last week I had the extraordinary privilege of working with one of the most exceptional women I have ever known.  This session was special because it was her birthday.  I feel so blessed to have not only been able to spend time with Karan on her birthday, but to also show her how beautiful she is.  Too often, we as women, get hung up on our age and reflect on how beautiful we once were in our "younger" years.  I love that I could show Karan how great she still looks - even if this was her 10th's time celebrating her 29th!

 

South Lyon Senior Portrait Photographer | 2013 Senior Rep Paige

Meet Paige.  She is one of my amazing senior reps.  Paige is a 2013 graduate of Harrison High School in Farmington Hills, Michigan.  Not only is she very beautiful but she is also a very intelligent and driven young lady who has a very bright future ahead of her.

Paige is very involved at her school and in her community.  She is a member of student council, senior class vice president, president of DECA (Harrison's Business Club) and was Homecoming Queen.  She mentors many girls, of all grades, in school and plays soccer and basketball.  She was awarded the Superintendent Award for all of her involvements at Harrison.  Paige also competed for the title of Miss Farmington in 2011 and 2012.  In 2012 she won the Community Service Award.  This year, she is acting as a liaison to the Miss Farmington candidates and is mentoring them in their community service work.  Paige will be attending Western in the fall and plans on studying finance.  She is also working on creating her own clothing line, Campbell & Co.

I had such an amazing time with Paige during her senior session.  We laughed, goofed off and even managed to take some great shots.  I feel very fortunate to have worked with this charismatic young lady and wish her the best of luck at Western.
